- OBITUARY OF LEANDER F. MINK Leander F. Mink, 810 Oak Street, died this morning after a short illness. He was born in Elgin, August 20, 1850 and was seventy-two years old at his death, having lived in Elgin all his life. He was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church and a charter member of the Modern Woodmen. He is survived by his wife, Marcia, and seven children. Mrs. G. S. McQueen, Loren J., Mrs. Edward Affelt, of Elgin, Montie of Huntley, Montana, Percy L. of Chicago, Mrs. R. L. Harbison of Tulsa, Okla., Mrs. R. L. Hood of Groton, S.D., and one brother, James V.
