- Believe the George Thompson who died on this day is the same George Thompson, however it cannot be proven. Family seems to remember he died around 1907, but the death record for this George stated he was a widower and he was 73 years old. "Our George was 78 years old and married". Yet, at the same time I don't know if there was another George Thompson in the Orford area?
