  • Notes
    • Charles Routley is listed in the 1911 - 1917 City of Regina Directories as living at 1914 or 1918 Garnet Street and this corresponds to a note mother wrote on the back of their picture to the effect that she boarded at their

place when she went to normal school. The 1916-7 directory describes Charles as a carpenter while the 1917 directory listed him as as driver for R. H. Williams & sons.

Gertie & Charles adopted Myrtle when she was about twelve. It would appear that the adopted was never legalized as it was impossible to get a copy of her marriage licence.

Myrtle reportedly married ? Walker, an Australian who trained as an airman in Canada during WW 2, possibly at Carberry as it was an RAF training station and had quite a compliment of Australians. [1]
