    Notes:

    After their wedding Harvey & Georgina farmed the John Gregory homestead, the second generation to live there. They farmed for 26 years before Harvey passed away in the same house where his parents, John & Sarah Gregory had died. Harvey & Georgina were well known for the musical abilities. Harvey played the violin & Georgina accompanied him on the piano.

  1. 14.  George Thomas LITTLE was born on 28 Mar 1871 in Holden Co., Ontario, Canada; died on 4 Mar 1957 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.

    Notes:

    George's mother died when he was born and he was brought up by his uncle and aunt. George came west to Carberry, Man. in 1896 and took a trade of black- smithing. George opened a blacksmith shop in the Petrel district in 1898.

    In 1902 the Littles moved to Saskatoon where George continued blacksmithing. The policemen brought their horses to him to be shold.

    About 1906 they moved to a farm nine miles northwest of Deslisle. George and Emma lived on the farm thirty years and they then moved into Delisle with Andrew taking over the farm. George became town constable for 6 years. They then moved to Saskatoon to 1241 Spadina Cresc. and lived there ten years.

    George married Emma Adeline OLMSTEAD on 29 Dec 1897 in Kerfoot, MN. Emma (daughter of Foster OLMSTEAD and Esther NELSON) was born on 14 Sep 1876 in Nepean, Ontario, Canada; died on 24 Oct 1978 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada; was buried in Hillcrest, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.     Notes:

    Her husband George opened a blacksmith shop in the Petrel, Mn. district in 1898. While George was blacksmithing he had a fight with a bear that wandered into the village. He fought it off with his bare hands and with the help of his dog. His arm had scars left by the bear's teeth. In 1902 the Littles moved to Saskatoon where George continued blacksmithing. About 1906 they moved to a farm nine miles northwest of Delisle. They lived on the farm thirty years and they then moved into Delisle with Andrew taking over the farm. George was town constable for six years. They then moved to Saskatoon.
