Bibliography:
Norace worked at the sawmill in the late 1800's for years in Cherry River. The sawmill was owned and operated by the Mitson family for many years. Located at the bottom of the hill and beside a small stream, that at some points in the year became a force river, once a waterpower mill. The mill was where the Chapel now sits. The plant manufacture sap buckets for a flourishing maple sugar industry of the region. It also produced roofing shingles in its saw mill, and was of course engaged in cutting up timber for beams and boards. The stone foundation still stands.
Norace married Sarah Jane ALGER. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
