8. | Simon BUSSEY was born in England; died in 1688 in No Yarm. Notes:
Buzzell, Bussey, Busy, Bussell - ancestry unknown, though the following story has been handed down:
The Buzzell family began with two brothers that came from England to America. They came from the Isle of Jersey. They split up at the St. Lawrence River - one went on to Maine , the other went into Canada. It is said they never saw each other again. Nothing has been found on the brother in Canada, but the other shows up in 1658 as Simon Bussy marrying Margaret Wormwood.
(From: Lloyd Davis who stated the information was from Hall Buzzell, who was told the story from his grandthater, David Buzzell (1845-1930) who had married Julia Rider).
Also recorded within a book.
