Notes |
- Her husband George opened a blacksmith shop in the Petrel, Mn. district in 1898. While George was blacksmithing he had a fight with a bear that wandered into the village. He fought it off with his bare hands and with the help of his dog. His arm had scars left by the bear's teeth. In 1902 the Littles moved to Saskatoon where George continued blacksmithing. About 1906 they moved to a farm nine miles northwest of Delisle. They lived on the farm thirty years and they then moved into Delisle with Andrew taking over the farm. George was town constable for six years. They then moved to Saskatoon. [1]
