- They first settled as farmers on Concession 12 and lived there 10 years, when in 1876 he bought a farm in Orford, where he lived for 10 years, following farming and his veterinary work.
He purchased real estate in Ridgetown, since locating in Ridgetwon, he has devoted all his attention to his veterinary work. (Building our Pedigree)
Politically Mr. Green has always been a conservative and taken an active part in local affairs. Religiously, he and his wife are followers of the Salvation Army and they have taken a very active part in the post at Ridgetown. Dr. Green is a member of the Order of Maccabees. Throughout a wide territory Dr. Dreen and his family are favourly known, while in his profession the doctor is recognized as a skillful surgeon, thoroughly versed in his work. he is genial and has many friends where he has made himself know.
