- OBITUARY OF AZUBA R. LOWN MINK Mrs. Azuba R. Lown Mink passed away at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Charles Mink, 347 St. Charles Street this morning at 1:30 o'clock after an illness of fourteen weeks. She was born at Rhinebeck, Dutchess county, New York, Sept. 2, 1842. On March 22, 1859, she was united in marriage to John W. Mink and to this union six children were born, two of whom survive her, a daughter, Mrs. Ada Biever of Aurora, IL, and a son, Clarence E. Mink of Paris, MI. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. E. J. McCarty of LaPort, IN, fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. She was also a sister-in-law of J. V. Mink and Mrs. Marcia Mink of Elgin. Mrs. Mink came west when a young girl and spent her life here. Her last days were spent in the homes of her daughter and daughter-in-law. She would have been eighty-five years of age next Friday. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 from the Norris chapel with the Rev. George T. Green officiating. Interment will be in Bluff City cemetery.
